The following books were added to the library shelves in September.
Genealogy
Newspaper birth and death announcements are being added to our online catalog. Searching for a name will lead you to the date and page of the newspaper the article appears in. We have collected the following information. Death, Marriages, Births, and some cases Divorces. Events happening in Hillsboro and Montgomery County, Illinois were never cataloged. If you want us to search for a realative we do charge a fee of $10.00 per person being searched, payable at the time of the request.

The following newspapers are available on microfilm at the library.
April Book Club Meeting
The April Book Club meeting will be held April 13, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss the book DROWING RUTH. New members are always welcome. Call the library at 532-3055 for further information.
Knitting Group
A knitting/crochet group will meet the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. BEGINNERS WELCOME!!
Hillsboro Public Library-Now WI-FI
Your invited to explore the Hillsboro Public Library's fast Internet network using your own wireless-enabled laptop computer. Free access is provided in all public areas in the WI-FI enabled library and at all times the library is open. Simply launch your Web browser. Your computer's home page will appear and you may begin surfing immediately. We request that you have a Hillsboro Public Library card.
New Storytime Program
Storytime will be held on the second Tuesday of the month for children ages three to five.
